(John) Ross Caldwell passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, August 7, age 80. Predeceased by his parents, Lorne and Christine, and sister and brother-in-law, Cairine and Henderson. Father to Skot (Tammy) and Doug (Ashley) he was delighted “Papa” to his grandchildren Jackson, Emily, Nolan, Robin, Harper and Abby. Though dementia had taken away most of his short-term memory, Ross never forgot his family, his childhood in Cornwall or the Almonte house on the Mississippi where he was surrounded by doting aunties and cousins. Ross also never lost the charm, vocabulary or quick wit that friends, family and caregivers loved about him. Ross will be fondly remembered in the pubs of Mississauga.
