Suddenly, peacefully and softly, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at the Kingston General Hospital at the age of 59. Beloved wife and best friend ever of Roger. Loving mother of Kevin (Leesa) of Westbrook, Amy (AJ) Proznik of Amherstview. Always remembered by her adopted children Heather (Bryan) of Ottawa, Walter (Sarah) of Tamworth, Michael (Colleen) of Trenton and Nicole (Asa) of Kingston. Caring grandmother of Makayla, Hanna, Connor, Austin, Eric, Alex, Zachary, Aaron, Hayden, Alanna and Ethan. Survived by brothers Arnold and Paul Thurston. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her ever loving parents Frederick and Ida Thurston and sister Laura and brother Frederick. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - "Kingston Chapel" on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 1-5 p.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations (by cheque) to the Captain Matthew J. Dawe Legion Branch 631 will be appreciated by the family
