Passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by his beloved wife Cheryl and his dear son Robert. Garry grew up around Marlbank, resided in Weatplain and Napanee, before moving to Kingston with his daughter and son-in-law.
He worked various jobs over the years, including McFarlands, the township of Napanee, Arctic Gardens, but most knew him from his many years he drove, or dispatched for the local cab companies like Rapid, Napanee, and JB.
He loved his family, both close and extended and tried to help anyway he could. He was overjoyed to finally become a grandpa, and loved every minute of it.
He spent a lot of time up in Napanee with the Napanee gang that he loved so very much, camping hunting, fishing, watching The Leafs, or just sitting around a campfire, all the things he loved most.
Garry was always the life of the party good for life and always had a smile on his face. He loved to sing and dance and have a great time.
Garry was always there to lend a hand will needed or just there when we needed him to be.
He is missed terribly, but fortunately he has left us all with enough Great memories that he’ll never be forgotten.
Private arrangements have been entrusted in Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston with burial in Tamworth and celebration of life at a later date.
