Obituary for Gail Yvette Mahaney (Chateauneuf)
Mahaney; Gail Yvette (Chateauneuf) - Passed away comfortably at her home with her husband at her side on Monday, February 15, 2021, after a short but valiant struggle with cancer. Beloved wife and best friend of Fred Mahaney of 42 years. Sister of Jeannie Chateauneuf. She will be treasured by her many friends that she leaves behind. Sadly missed by her furry companion Sandee. Predeceased by her parents Jean Paul and Jeanette Chateauneuf.
Gail was outgoing and kind, in adversity she was tough and determined, in relationship tender, generous and encouraging. She had a gift for joy and laughter that shone out and touched the lives of many. Gail loved to spend her time enjoying the outdoors walking, camping and kayaking with her husband.
A Private Celebration Service will be held at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel on February 22, 2021.
