Emerson; Eric - Passed away suddenly on Monday, December 30, 2019 at his home in Roslin in his 72nd year. Predeceased in 2017 by his beloved wife Jane (nee Powell). Loving father of: Jennifer Long (Scott) of Ottawa, Brett Emerson (Laura) and Terry (Erin) Emerson both of Whitby. Cherished grandfather of: Emma, Jacob, Luke, James, Everett, Jack, Hailey, Hayden, Jade, Correy-Ann, Duncan and Carson. Beloved son of Alice and the late Glen Emerson. Dear brother of Glenda Brown of Steenberg Lake. Eric will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Always loved and never forgotten a loving Husband, Father, Son, Grandfather, Friend, Devoted Foster Parent and Firefighter. Friends will be received at the Wartman Funeral Home Napanee Chapel on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00. Interment in Victoria Cemetery, Belleville in the spring.
