Truelove; Elizabeth Anne - Elizabeth Ann Truelove, age 79, died peacefully in the ICU of Kingston Health Sciences Centre - KGH on February 9, 2019. Elizabeth (Liz) is survived by her loving spouse, William (Bill) V. Truelove to whom she was happily married for almost 60 years. Elizabeth and Bill met while attending Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and lived in Thunder Bay, Barrie and resettled back to Kingston in 2014. Liz is survived by her children Linda McKenna and her husband, Keith, and Brad Truelove and his wife, Colleen and her grandchildren, Amanda and Stephanie Truelove, Doug McKenna and her great grandson, Joey McKenna. Elizabeth is also survived by her brother, Charles Black and Lucie Dionne and their children, Steven Black and his wife Susie and their daughter, Christina, Karen Black and her husband, Andy Thompson, and Nancy and her husband, Jack Cossette and their daughter, Mia. Elizabeth is also survived by her brother, Robert Black and his partner Margaret Carver and his children Roberta Black and Julie Dalla Gassa and her husband, Lino and Bob’s grandchildren, Dayton and his partner, Hayli Dunn, Konner, Kaylee and his great grandchildren, Jordyn and Colton. Leslie and Terry Forbes are also treasured members of the family. Elizabeth remembered with joy her relationships with her cousins Tom and Grant O’Neill, Barb Miller, Donald (predeceased) and Barbie Simons and their respective families. Elizabeth cherished her relationships with Bill’s sister, Carole Brent and her husband, Al and their children, Kelly and her husband, Peter Botz and their children, Cadence Winters Matthews, and Andrew, Billy Brent and his wife, Tracy and their daughters, Kayla and Tracy. Elizabeth enjoyed her summers at the Westport cottage and the fun times with Bill’s cousins, Fred and Doreen Knapp.

Elizabeth enjoyed a life long passion with the fibre arts and was an active member of the Kingston Handloom Weavers and Spinners since returning to Kingston and with the guilds in Barrie prior to moving.

Elizabeth was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend and will be dearly missed by many.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the physicians, nurses and other team members at KGH who provided such tremendous care.

Per her wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held in April 2019. In lieu of flowers, any donations should be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation in Toronto.
