It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Betty Ann McCallum, on March 12, 2022, in Kingston ON. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Darlene McCallum, Christine McCallum (Chris George), Michelle Decroock (Stuart), her beautiful grandchildren; Charlotte, Maya and Ethan and her Siblings; Doris Schomberg (Roy), Rose Lachance and Harry Merkley (Connie). Predeceased by her Parents; Harold and Cecilia Merkley and Siblings; Allan Merkley (Milly), Danny Merkley and Peter Merkley.
Betty will always be remembered for her kind heart and upbeat personality. Betty loved cooking and could carry on a conversation about food for as long as you would let her. She had a passion for animals and especially loved going on long walks with her best friend, Duke. Betty was born in Kingston and raised in Westport ON. Betty had many stories of growing up on the farm with her loving parents and siblings.
Arrangements have been entrusted in Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston. A private family graveside service to be held at Willowbank Cemetery, Gananoque at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded online through wartmanfuneralhomes.com
