It is with great sadness the family of Doug announce his passing on March 4, at the age of 73. He will be greatly missed by his son Nathan (Kathy Dawson) and grandchildren Amelia and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Evelyn, his son Brian, his sister Kathy Steele and brother in law Ken Steele. He will be remembered by his sister Judy Chown (Roger) and brother Mike Howie ( Eleanor).
After working 30+ years for the City of Kingston Public works, Doug was able to retire at a young age of 50. He will be missed by former colleagues as well as many of the staff and residence at Helen Henderson Care Center. The family greatly appreciates the care and attention that was given to Doug during his time at Helen Henderson.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
