Obituary for Debora Marianne Scott (Fleming)

Scott, Debora Marianne "Debbie" (nee Fleming)
August 3, 1962 to November 16, 2017

Passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) after a year long struggle with breast cancer. Daughter of the late Harry and Syke Fleming of Amherst Island. Debbie was a 32 year employee of the South East Community Care Access Centre.

Beloved wife of Alex Scott, cherished mother of Rachel and Rebecca Scott, loving sister to Larry Fleming (Lynn), David Fleming (Laurie), Wayne Fleming (Karen), and daughter-in-law of Janet Scott all of Amherst Island.

Sadly missed by her in-laws Kathi (Drew), Jamie (Tammy), Sarah (Donnie), Ruth (Tony), Aunts Shirley Martin (Orvin) and Janke "Jane" Hannaford, sixteen nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

Debbie lived life for her family and friends, a sixth generation Islander Debbie was proud of her family roots.

A special Thank You to all the doctors, nurses and support staff who cared for our beloved Debbie during her battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. with reception to follow. Private family burial at Glenwood Cemetery to follow cremation.
