It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, and brother on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital at the age of 71. Forever loved by his wife Betty of 47 years, cherished father of Lee McCartney (Scott Thompson) of Napanee and Susan Whitelock (Joshua) of Ottawa, grandfather of Madison, Avery, Easton, Kayden, Forest, Heath, and Evangeline. David will be missed by his sisters Anne Richelle (late Bob) of Halifax, and Carol Ashford (late Don) of St. Thomas.
Aquamation has taken place, arrangements entrusted in Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee. A celebration of David's life to be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 1-4 in the Wartman Funeral Home Reception Centre.
