It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of David Harold Hinton at the age of 64 on December 1st, 2020 at his beloved second home in The Abacos, Bahamas.

Dave lived life to the fullest, whether it was at work or at play. He was an extraordinarily generous person -- always the first to step up and lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He served as an anchor for so many and will forever be missed.

Predeceased by his parents, Marion & Kenneth Hinton,

Dave leaves behind his loving wife, soulmate and partner in business, Michelle Hinton;

his sons, Stephen Hinton, Zachary Hinton (partner Kaileigh and daughter Sloane) and Mitchell Connolly (partner Kaitlyn & daughter Taylor);

his sister Diane Hinton and her son Christopher Johnstone (wife Erin & daughter Elora) and her daughter Alyssa Hinton (partner Jeremy);

brother John Hinton (wife Carol & children Michael & Blaire);

and his brother Jim Hinton (wife Sandra).

Dave is also remembered by Janet Nicol (mother of Stephen & Zachary)

and all of their staff at Loyalist Cove Marina.

His beloved dog, Daisy, was also one of Dave's closest and most loyal companions.

Dave will be forever loved and remembered by his extended family and friends.
