Laprade; Daniel Victor - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Laprade. Born February 11, 1954. Dan passed away on February 6, 2020 after battling cancer. Father to Tim (Claire) of Yarker, Nicholas and Melissa both of Ottawa. Loving and proud grandpa to Brandin (Amanda), Noah, Freya and great-grandpa to Nora. He will be missed by his favourite sisters; Susan (Arnold), Helen (Bob), Diane, late Carole, Mary Ann (Michael), Jayne (Bob) and Jocelyn (Derry). Predeceased by his father Victor and mother Gabrielle. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, best friends and of course his pup Lucy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel. In keeping with Dan's wishes, he will be cremated and a private Celebration of Life will be held in the coming weeks. Dan is now headed off on a great fishing journey. Memorial donations can be made by cheque or credit card to Canadian Cancer Society or planting a tree in Dan's honour.
