Corinne Olivia Elizabeth (Goodfellow) Howes
October 16, 1939 – January 9, 2022
Peacefully, and with her children by her side singing “Danny Boy” and “I Did It My Way”, Corinne passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Beloved mother of Julie Hall (John), Steven Howes (Tina Chen), Carol Wagar (Jamie) and Lisa Wilhelm (Brad). Dearly missed and forever loved Nanny to Emily, Olivia & Ethan Hall, Bennett, Mettelen & Merren Wagar, Cecilia & David Howes, Bram & Alec Hazelton and Connor & Samantha Wilhelm. Corinne was predeceased by her steadfast and adoring husband Rodger, her parents Cecil and Olga (Nelson) Goodfellow and her brothers Richard and Bill.
A lifelong volunteer and an educator for more than 27 years, Corinne leaves behind a wonderful legacy. As per Corinne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family funeral will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston Chapel. Those family and friends wishing to attend the funeral service by Zoom, please register before 10am on Thursday by visiting Corinne's obituary page on the funeral home website and clicking on the link provided. A “Celebration of Life” for Corinne will take place in the future at “Seven Pines”, the Howes family cottage on Eagle Lake.
