Obituary for Glenn Proulx

Proulx, Christopher Glenn
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dadski, Glenn Proulx, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital. We, his daughters Rachael (Matthew Cashman) and Vicky (Alec Donaldson) and his “mini-me” grandson Finn, are already missing him beyond measure. We know that he will also be missed by his siblings Ann Walker (Eldon), Connie Gervais (late Charlie), Maynard Proulx (Sue), Phillip Proulx (France), Theresa Proulx (late Mike) Norman Proulx, and Andrew Proulx (June),
along with his former wife Mary, brother in-law Rob Cambridge (Mary), and many friends and extended family members. We like to think that he will be reunited with his mom, Julie, and his brother, Stephen, who will undoubtedly welcome him with a ton of jokes that could render this obituary unsuitable for general readership. We would like to extend our thanks to the staff at the Lennox and Addington Hospital who took amazing care of him. Our dad was a character and should be remembered as such! He made many great memories during his time working in armoured car to the point where his stories have made us question how in the world he ever got paid for such hi-jinx. He later owned and operated A1 Locksmiths.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 23 at the Wartman Funeral Home in Napanee from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Speeches to begin at 1:00 PM. Our dad was a mischievous and loving habitual line crosser who really, really cared about helping others to overcome barriers in order to find success. This is only one of the ways in which our dad has had a profound impact on our worldview. As such, in lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations in his name to Christie Lake Kids.
Arrangements entrusted in Wartman Funeral Home Napanee. Condolences and donations may be forwarded online through www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com.
