Young, Carl Roy
Retired Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Kingston.
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Carl will be missed by his loving wife Thea Young (nee denOuden), their two children Mark Young (Deanne Taylor) of Whitby and Jeff Young (Sue Whitbread) of Kingston. Carl was a proud grandfather to Jenna, Terra, Thomas, Peyton and Matthew. Carl will be remembered by his siblings Edward (Theda), Dianne (late Robert), Barbara (Frederick), Donald (Rita), and Annamarie (Allan). Predeceased by his loving parents Wesley and Myrtle Young, as well as his sibling's, Robert (Joan), John (survived by Jeanette Young), and Gilbert (Kathy). Carl will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel, as well as Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, and 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Service to follow on Friday September 23, 2022, in the Wartman Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
