July 2, 1934 – April 22, 2018
Bev passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 22nd, 2018. Born and blossomed in Verdun, Quebec, raised her children in Laval, Quebec, watched her family flourish in Mississauga, Ontario and enjoyed the growth in generations of her family while living in Kingston, Ontario. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Donald and children Douglas (Pauline), Donald (Cynthia) and Elizabeth Stiles (Karl); grandchildren Scott (Kaila), Cheyne (Jenny), Danielle (Tim), Matthew, Michael, Emma; great grandchildren Julia and Kendall and sister Elizabeth Cheyne. Predeceased by her daughter Cheryl, father Arthur Cheyne, sisters Gladys, and Margaret. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and technicians at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for their care and consideration. The family will receive friends at Wartman Funeral Home – Kingston Chapel (980 Collins Bay Road Kingston) on Saturday April 28th, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) or the charity of your choice by cheque or credit card.
