Obituary for Bessie Pauline Alkenbrack (Dopking)

Alkenbrack; Bessie Pauline (nee Dopking) - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with the love of her family around her, on February 8, 2015 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Alkenbrack. Dear friend of Clifford Clarke. Loving Mother of the late Allan, late John, Robert, Donald Jr. (Cheryl), Steven (Vicky), late Sharon Powell, David, Susan (Richard) Little, Ann (Gerrit) Bolding and Christopher (Claire). Caring grandmother of 14 grandchildren and great grandmother of 16 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Bruce and Norma Dopking. Dearly missed by her siblings Elwood (Sylvia) Dopking, Mary Dopking (Jan), Lorna Loney (Don Gowdy) and her step- siblings Joy and Bonnie. Predeceased by her siblings: Bill, Jean (Carl), Rose and Charlie and step sibling Billy. Bessie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Kingston Chapel " (980 Collins Bay Rd, Kingston) on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment Moscow Cemetery. Friends desiring may contribute by cheque or credit card to the U.H.K.F or Friends of Briargate.
