Condolence: Pat was a fun spirit with a loving heart. I have so many fabulous memories of family dinners at her house in the Gatineau, Quebec. The food was always copious and delicious. She was the hostess with the mostess and Pat had a wonderful ideal of what family could and should be. I looked forward to our many conversations she made time to answer my questions. She did not treat me as a child but an equal. I always looked up to my Cousin Pat as a role model of what a woman should be in our society. Caring and compassionate, happy, joyful, a loving wife and mother with a sense of keeping our extended family strong and together always. She talked to me about all of our family tree and left me the family tree books the last time she visited me in Hawaii because she knew I was interested in such things. I always thought of Pat as the Matriarch of our family since Aunt Goldie died many years ago and the world felt more solid and at peace with her there. I will always think of Pat with loving and good memories. She will be missed. My love and sympathy go out to Henry, the love of her life, Kate and Kristin. May she rest in peace.
