Peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in his 81st year.
Beloved husband of Hazel (Rattie-Clevette) of Napanee. Loving father of Brenda Leah VanAlstyne (Jim) of Millhaven, Kenneth MacKinnon (Donna) of Bob's Lake, Brent MacKinnon of Kaladar, Michele MacKinnon (Dave) of Bewdley and Michael MacKinnon (Louisa) of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Loving grandfather of seven and great grandfather of one. Dear stepfather of Al Rattie (Debbie), Terry Rattie (Linda), Raymond Rattie (Cheryl) and Clayton Rattie (Sue) all of Napanee. Also loved by his several nieces, nephews, friends and fiddlers. Predeceased by eight siblings. His artistry and music lives on in his children and grandchildren. Aquamation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Napanee Lions Hall on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque or credit card to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
