Doornekamp; Renske Siderius - With much sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Renske Siderius Doornekamp, on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the John M Parrott Centre in Napanee, Ontario. She was the much loved matriarch of eight children, twenty-one grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Loving mother to Hendrik (Sheri), Rene (Cheryl), Ike (Kathy), Marten (Cindy), Rennie Hutzler (Mike), Anita (Cecilia Penner), Tineke Nurse (Sean), and Martha Embury (Edward). In her 92 years of life she survived war, immigration to a new land, and the joys of raising a large and industrious family with our remarkable father, Hendrik (deceased 1990). The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm at Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at Westdale Park Free Methodist Church, 7 Richmond Park Drive, Napanee, Ontario on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery and luncheon at Wartman Funeral Home Reception Centre - Napanee Chapel.
