Howard; Valerie (Filson) - Passed away after a lengthly illness at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in her 64th year. Valerie was a valued employee of Empire Life Insurance Company of over 30 years. Cherished wife of Bob Howard of 42 years. Sadly missed by her parents Barbara and the late Harry Filson. Dear sister of Garry (Susan) Filson. Lovingly remembered by her special niece Ashley Filson, Derek Grange (Eva Gerus) and Kristy Grange (Deryk Heroux) as well as her extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home - Kingston Chapel on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery on Amherst Island.
