W.W. II Veteran and Retired from Alcan of 44 years.
Peacefully with his family at his side, on Monday June 26, 2017 at the Kingston General Hospital in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Margaret of Kingston. Loving father of Joanne Dunlop (Mel) of Almonte, Jill Smith (Ron) of Amherstview and predeceased by his son Robin (Barbara) of Kingston. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Michele (Rick), Chris (Shannon), Jeffrey (Paula), Stacey (Martin), Nicky (Gord), Brent (Rheea), and Keith (Brittany) and his great grandchildren Cassie, Ricky, Max and Ace. Norman will also be fondly remembered by the MacDonell and Wilcock families. He will be missed by his sister Joan Gilbert (David) and was predeceased by his brothers Roy and Ken Wilde. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - KINGSTON CHAPEL on Sunday July 9, 2017 from 1 - 5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque to the Salvation Army, Kingston would be apprectiated by the family.
