Condolence: Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Florence's family. It is with shock and profound sadness Ina and I learned of Florence's tragic passing. Florence was a person everyone loves to be around ... always a smile, quick to laugh, always interested in others, generous and giving of herself to make someone's day just a little brighter. Florence was appreciative of the neighbourly things her friends and neighbours would do. We came to know Florence as the rock foundation of her neighbourhood sharing it for the last forty seven years with my parents. Over that time we saw the evolution of life in the neighbourhood - children growing to adulthood - adults having children, the passing of elders. Florence's neighbourhood is a diamond in the rough which has been polished to radiant brilliance over the extraordinary number of years most neighbours have lived there. They say it takes a community to raise a child... we believe it also takes a community to support an elder Florence is now with those she loved... Waiting for those she loves. We miss her...
