Thompson, Garnet Edmond; Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday October 27, 2016 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Nellie (nee Gilchrist) of Napanee. Loving father of Steven and Christine Asselstine (Mark) both of Napanee. Dear grandfather of Noah and Aiden. Caring brother of Eldon (Verna), of Kaladar, Larry (Darlene) of Napanee, Wayne of Napanee and the late Marilyn Tryon. Also remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home, "Napanee Chapel" on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
