Obituary for Bruce Vincent Vidotto

Bruce Vincent Vidotto - husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and colleague- passed away Monday April 25th at the age of 53. Bruce will be deeply missed by his wife, Natalie (nee Doria) and his three children, Danica, Nicholas, and Julia. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Gastone and Isabel Vidotto. In addition to his siblings, Mark (Val), Frank (Lisa), David (Maria), Lori, and Bunny, Bruce also leaves behind a large family, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

As a husband and best friend of 27 years, Bruce was supportive, devoted, and loving. Bruce took joy in raising his children and was always very proud of their goals and ambitions. Family and friends will recall treasured times spent at the family camp/cottage at Hawkeye Lake and sitting around the kitchen table for Sunday pancake brunch.

The long-lasting friendships that Bruce had were very important to him. Friends enjoyed his unique sense of humour and his company when golfing, fishing or just spending time together.

Bruce was very successful in his trade, and his work provided him much fulfillment in life. He valued the camaraderie amongst his work family at Hydro One in both Thunder Bay and Kingston.

Bruce will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates expressions of sympathy to either University Hospital Kingston Foundation - Emergency Department, or Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 6th at St. Anthony’s Church in Thunder Bay
