Obituary for Roy Arthur "Bun" Salmon

Suddenly at home on Saturday, January 23rd in his 80th year. Roy worked for several years at Queen’s University and was a loyal Maple Leafs/Blue Jays fan. Predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Natalie (nee Burtch), in 2005. Dear father of Roy Jr., Ron (Christine) and Rhonda (Matt) Storms. Loving Grampa to Veronica and Jessica. Great Grampa to Peyton and Erik. Survived by brothers Cliff (Agnes) of Ottawa, Roger (late Linda) of Gananoque, Larry (Betty Ann) of Kingston, brother and sister in-law Meryl and Marilyn Hanson of Victoria, BC and Orley (late Rosalie) Mather of Kingston. Predeceased by sister Judy (late John) Wiskin and brother Terry. Also fondly remembered by many good friends and neighbors Jerry and Pat Bellefontaine and Ted and Shirley Tripp. A special thank you to responders for their support and compassion. As per Roy’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service and celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Cremation arrangements in the care of Wartman Funeral Home, 980 Collins Bay Road, Kingston.
