After a long courageous fight, at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital with his family at his side on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Marlyn (nee Shoebridge). Loving father of Stephen (Lyndsay) of Napanee and Gloria (Paul) Preston of Kingston. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Troy Harrison, Jillian (Rob) Stewart, Stephanie and Kirsten Mason and his great grandchildren Ryder and Georgia. Fondly remembered by his sisters; Rosemary Finlay (Hugh) of Strathcona, Sylvia Elliott (Al) of Mazinaw Lake and Dawn Dale of Napanee. Caring and treasured friend of Sylvia Lovelock. Predeceased by brother George. The family will receive friends at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - "Kingston Chapel" on Monday September 7, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Minor hockey Association - Napanee and Kingston Hard of Hearing Club will be appreciated by the family.
