Molaro; Gladys Joan (nee Barlow) June 21, 1931 - August 15, 2015
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beloved Wife, Mother, Aunt, Gramma, Nanny and Friend after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Gladys passed away in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side at the age of 84. Loving wife of 60 years to Reginald, cherished mother to Dawna Poffley (Luis), Maria Molaro-Lachance (R.J.), beloved gramma to Joshua and Danielle Lachance and nanny to Nicole Poffley. Fondly remembered by many family and friends, especially her nieces Yvonne Evoy and Valerie Thompson and her close neighbours in Westbrook. She will be greatly missed by Blue, her furry companion. Predeceased by her brother and sisters Ted Barlow, Peggy Barlow, and Lily Smith. Glad enjoyed playing baseball and volleyball and was an avid golfer who enjoyed golfing with her friends at Westbrook Golf Club and travelling here and abroad. The family wishes to thank Dr. Baran and all the care providers for their exemplary care and compassion during this most difficult time. Family and friends will be received at the WARTMAN FUNERAL HOME - "Kingston Chapel" on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. A private family interment will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque or credit card to the KGH Foundation or the Cancer Centre Of Southeastern Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
