Passed away at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, Napanee on Friday, June 12, 2015, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Sutherland). Dear father Debbie Rattie (Alvin), Napanee; Cheryl Bittle, Ottawa; Stewart (Anne), Scarborough; Sandy Turriff, Roblin and Jeff (Melinda), Deseronto. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Nelson, deceased; Delores Barnes, deceased; Marlene Shipton, deceased and Robert, Peteborough. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Napanee Chapel" on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-11 am. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Cremation followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Donations to L&A Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
