TURNBULL, "Bruce" – Thomas Bruce Turnbull passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the John M. Parrott Center on March 18, 2015 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of 65 years to Alice Mary Turnbull (Hogeboom). Admired father of Tom Turnbull (Joan) and Corynne Dietrich (Brad). Bruce was a generous, hard-working, kind, modest, loving parent. Fondly remembered by Holly mother of Taryn (John), Breanna (Marc) and Stuart (Carolyn) as well as grandchildren Blake (Whitney) and Andrew (Charise). He was a fearless, knowledgeable grandfather who cherished every shared moment with a story and a laugh. Great-grandfather of Helena, Benjamin and Elyse. Pre-deceased by siblings Reta Conran (Harold), Marjorie McLeod (Allen), Mary MacQuay (Jack), Bud Turnbull (Marie), Gladys Mitchell (Charlie), Ted Turnbull (Joan) and Gwen Harman (Earl). Survived by siblings Norma (Glen) and Billy (Gene). The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home Kingston Chapel at 980 Collins Bay Road on Sunday March 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Wartman Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Monday March 23rd. In lieu of flowers, donations to The John M. Parrott Centre as a thank you to their staff for their tremendous care and the Lung Association would be appreciated. Bruce will be cremated and laid to rest at Cataraqui Cemetery.
