Bridgen; Elsie Irene (nee Bullock) - Peacefully at St. Mary's Of The Lake Hospital on January 10, 2015. For fifty years, loving wife to Stuart Bridgen of Kingston. Cherished mother of: Bruce (Evelyn) Laird of Odessa, Shirley (Jack) Lima of Amherstview, Lorne Laird of Kingston and Mary Jane (David) Dempster of Inverary. Caring grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 18 and great-great grandmother of 1. Fondly remembered by her siblings, Doreen (Bob) Barber of Kingston and George (Judy) Bullock of Odessa, and sister-in-law Joan of Kingston and their families. Predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Wood, and brother, Bud Bullock. Special thanks to the staff of Cancer Centre Of Southeastern Ontario and St. Mary's Of The Lake Hospital who cared for Elsie throughout her illness. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Kingston Chapel" (980Collins Bay Rd, Kingston) on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations to Cancer Centre Of Southeastern Ontario (UHKF) would be appreciated by the family.
