In her 91st year, born in Sutton, Quebec, passed peacefully of natural causes in Kingston, Ontario, on October 6, 2014. June was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, James, and her daughter Margaret (Peggy) Anderson (2013). She is survived by sons Gavin (Vicki), Ian (Tracey), and Colin (Cheryl), and grandchildren Katherine, Jane, James, Blair, Sarah, Wyatt, and Scott. She was a great mom, a loyal friend, a superb baker, a keen bridge player, a brilliant cryptic crossword puzzle solver, a prolific knitter, and a doting grandma. She was much loved and will be deeply missed. A gathering of remembrance will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday October 17th at Wartman Funeral Home, 980 Collins Bay Road, Kingston with reception to follow. Burial at the Grace Church Anglican Cemetery, Sutton, Saturday, October 18th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Kingston Seniors Association, 56 Francis Street, Kingston, K7M 1L8, where June enjoyed many happy hours playing bridge including one last slam last Wednesday.
