Banks, Michael Colin passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26th, 2014 in his 61st year at Kingston General Hospital after a long battle against leukemia. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carol (nee Hartnett). Loving father of Kelly, Henry and Carolina. Survived by his brothers Patrick and Malcolm. Pre-deceased by his parents Micah and Sarah (nee Forbes) and siblings Evelyn, Joyce and Marie. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends from Brampton, Kingston, Sand Lake and by his Merv golf buddies. We know Michael is now making them laugh in heaven with his voices of Ali, Nicholson, Jimmy Stewart etc. Special thanks to the staff of Kingston ICU for their exceptional care of Mike. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home "Kingston Chapel" (980 Collins Bay Rd. at Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston, ON K7M 5H2) on Wednesday from 1-3 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church (1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston) on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque to Special Olympics Canada will be appreciated by the family.
